Good Shepherd Anglican Church is affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). This grouping unites 131,000 Christians in nearly 1,000 congregations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Good Shepherd was founded in 2004 under the spiritual oversight of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, Africa.
As more and more Anglican parishes in North America emerged over time, the ACNA was established. The ACNA is comprised of 30 dioceses, with Good Shepherd soon to take its place in the Diocese of the Great Lakes, which covers Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
